House or “C” level teams are open to players in the U13 (birth years 2013 & 2014), U15 (birth years 2011 & 2012), and U17 (birth years 2009 & 2010) categories who want to start or continue playing competitive ball, but at a recreational level that is less intensive than the A and B rep teams. Softball players of any skill level are welcome to join a house team – there are no tryouts, and no previous experience needed.
House teams are typically coached by parent volunteers, and play league games against other South Vancouver Island district teams from April – June, with optional tournaments at the end of the season. There are 14 associations that play under SVI, so some travel in the South Island area is to be expected.
There are no catchment rules for house league softball registration - Softball BC parks are open to everyone!
