2026 Hit-A-Thon Details

WHEN:

May 30th, 2026

WHERE:

Hollywood Park and Brooke St Park.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Entry: Each player in the league who raises a minimum of $50 can participate and gets 3 hits during their turn at the Hit-A-Thon.
• Bonus Reps: For every extra $25 a player raises they receive an extra hit (example $150 raised = 8 total hits).*
• Players with longest hits will have their achievements recorded on the Beacon Hill site
• All hits will be off of the tee. Tennis balls for T-Ball and Junior Rookies divisions; baseballs for Rookie Minors, Minors and Majors divisions;  softballs for softball divisions.
• Your time slot will be added to your team’s schedule in TeamSnap.

GET STARTED:

• Click on the Fundraising page link: https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/peer-to-peer/beacon-hill-hit-a-thon
• Click on the ‘Fundraise’ button with the arrow.
• Select your team from the list
• Fill in your players info and your e-mail address.
• Campaign target may be set to anything.
• Click Join.
• You will be emailed and provided your fundraising link to your players own page.
• Share the player’s Hit-A-Thon page with family and friends via email, social media, etc.
• Encourage your player to fundraise for themselves.
• Donations will automatically be credited to the individual player and their team.

PRO TIPS:

• You may use tinyurl.com to shorten your fundraising link so it is easier to distribute.
• You may also try qrcode-monkey.com to generate a QR code to make it easier to fundraise. The player just needs to show the QR code to anyone wishing to make a donation and after scanning it they will be brought to their donation page.
• With a printed page and QR code players can fundraise for themselves accepting donations with a scan.

FUNDRAISING STRATEGY:

• Fueling Our Season: This will be our biggest fundraiser and provides the essential support we need to run a successful club.
• Network First: Lean into your efforts by reaching out to as many family members, friends, and co-workers as possible.
• Hit the Streets: If all else fails, take to the streets and knock on doors in your neighborhood!

DISTANCE CHALLENGE:

Top 3 players from each division will advance to a final round. Finalists will receive 5 hits. The winner (longest hit) of each division will receive their choice of Playstation 5 with MLB The Show, a new bike from Fairfield Bikes (max $500 value), a Nintendo Switch OLED, $500 GC to Kirby’s

TEAM CHALLENGE:

The highest earning team at the conclusion of the event (May 30th by 6pm), will win a Pinhalla pizza party and $500 of credit at Pinhalla.
