Beacon Hill is a member of South Vancouver Island (SVI) Minor Softball Association and the BC Amateur Softball Association (Softball BC), the official Provincial Sport Organization for Softball/Fastball in B.C.
Our mission is to engage the youth of our community in healthy activity through learning and appreciating the sport of softball and encouraging the development of not only softball skills but life skills. We aim to provide quality softball instruction in the fundamental aspects of the game in a safe, fun, positive and nurturing environment, teaching these young athletes to strive to be their best and to have success on and off the diamond.
We are delighted to welcome the Victoria Glory softball program to our association! Led by Director of Player Development, 2020 Tokyo Olympic Bronze medalist and member of the Canadian National Softball Team, Emma Entzminger, the Glory will head up competitive teams at the U13 – U19 divisions in addition to an offseason development program, “Next Level”.
Registration for the 2022 regular season will open in January.
Softball BC has adopted new age categories which will be effective for the 2022 season. U11 teams who are developing fundamental skills will be classified as “C” only. Teams at U13 and older will be classified under A, B or C.
