U11 softball players born in 2012 and 2013
Schedule
The regular season runs from early April to mid June.
Players can expect to have 1-2 practices a week and 1 game on Saturday or Tuesday evening.
Location
Home games are played at Pemberton Park.
Away games may take place at Carnarvon, Langford, Lakehill, Central Saanich, and Cordova Bay.
Cost
$225 ($200 if registered before Feb 1)
Clothing
Players need to purchase and wear their own plain grey ball pants (no stripes or ribbing, please).
Each player will receive a hat, long-sleeved practice shirt, and socks — theirs to keep.
Team jerseys will be distributed and must be returned at the end of the season. Please bring a $50 deposit cheque to your team coach made out to ‘Beacon Hill Baseball & Softball Association’. The cheque will be destroyed when you return the jersey at the end of the season.
Equipment
Players need their own glove, rubber cleats, and batting helmet with cage.
They must also wear pelvic protection (a “jock” or “jill”) to every practice and game.
Team bats are supplied. Players may also use their own bat.
