B-Level Softball

B-level is competitive division ball for experienced players with solid fundamentals. Players must try out to make the team.

What to expect

If your player is selected, you can expect: 

  • Practices year-round (including Next Level training) 
  • Games into mid-July if the team qualifies for Provincials
  • Travel on the island for tournaments (3-4), to Vancouver for tournaments (1-2), District Playoffs and Provincial Championships

By participating as a player or parent/guardian, you are agreeing to abide by the Code of Conduct.

Costs

Registration
Includes Next Level offseason training.
Once your player is selected for a team, you will be invited to register and asked to pay the registration fee.

Variable expenses and travel
Additional expenses will be variable based on each team’s activity. Fees other than personal travel expenses will be collected through the Association and/or your team’s treasurer.

These expenses include:
Uniform*
Travel allowances for coaches
Tournament fees
Your own travel expenses

*Athletes new to the program will have to purchase their uniform (includes: 2 jerseys, 2 pants, helmet, belt, socks)

How is player selection determined?

By our coaching commitee.

How are coaches appointed?

Coaches are appointed by the Beacon Hill Board of Directors.

Will there be fundraising opportunities?

Yes! We want to fundraise to reduce the cost as much as possible. There will be one Beacon Hill Raffle fundraiser (minimum $200 per athlete). Individual team fundraising will be decided by your team’s treasurer and manager.
